“ On my way out of Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood, my brother and I stopped at Pita Xpress for a pita sandwich. I had the "young chicken" (grilled chicken thighs) and he chose the shawarma sandwich. You get a choice of lots of veggies plus hummus (I ask for it on the side) and tehina sauces. For a few bucks more, you can make it a combo with a drink and fries. They also have a salad bar with several pickled vegetables and fried pita strips, which I'm addicted to. All in all, this has been my favorite pita sandwich/Mediterranean food restaurant since it opened years ago. I love it and will be back. ”
